The origin of variants's classifications can now be defined as 'Germline' or 'Somatic'. Most of existing classifications are currently tagged as 'Germline'. Please contact us if you'd like to modify some tags (e.g. you're a somatic professional and did classify some variants in the past).
MobiDetails is an annotation platform dedicated to the interpretation of DNA variations.
It currently annotates only genic variations (i.e. exonic or intronic). When a variant is annotated, it then aggregates information from multiple sources (see about page) including population frequencies, predictors, etc.
MobiDetails is developed at Montpellier University Hospital (Laboratory of Molecular Genetics) and is free for academic use. Non-academic users must register, and should read this.
MobiDetails also include an API for programmatic access. Please refer to the rules before using it.
